“What do I do now?” Lexx went back to the relay. For all the training he had received on hundreds of different social situations, none of that training had prepared him for this.
“Uh …” Chel considered what would be the best approach.
“Invite them inside for a tour or something.” Riley popped into their private conversation.
“Would you like to come inside?” Lexx asked politely. He gestured to the door.
Chel looked hopefully at her father, but she could not tell anything from his face. He looked calm.
“Interesting boy … indeed.” Victor was anything but calm inside. He was busily going over the best way to proceed with his suspicions that would not interfere with his job. Lexx looked harmless enough, but Vic knew better.
Keith wasn’t paying attention. He was looking over his shoulder at Swiftpaw. Keith really wanted a closer look. Swiftpaw’s immediate response to be stared at was first to crouch down and try to make himself invisible… without anything to hide behind. Then, he realized that Keith was not likely to do anything to him and was being friendly.
Swiftpaw slunk closer on his belly,then sat up, still a safe distance away, and waved his left wing at the boy.
And yes, for those of you who saw the earlier small update, I went back and put glasses on Chel. I actually had to go back and do that two weeks ago too.
Nobody noticed that one. It had been so long since I last drew her with glasses on that I keep forgetting.Please scroll down for information on the dog tags I may do… if people are interested. PLEASE leave your opinions and note the finished size of book one will be standard comic book sized in full color AND a black and white graphic novel sized version. (The sizes are not up for debate, just the layout.) This is only for the first book, since the rest of the books will have actual, normal sized comic book pages halfway through day 3.
