“Never mind.” Riley immediately removed his hand from Lexx’s shoulder and stepped aside. “I’ve had my overly protective father encounter for this life time.” Riley bowed politely to Victor and spun on heels. He vanished down the nearest hallway in a few overly long strides.
“Coward.” Lexx hissed after him.
Hes not fleeing. No no. It’s a uhh … Tactical retreat! Yeah thats all.
