They didn’t look very menacing, but Chel had been around enough dice to know looks were almost always deceiving.
“Ow … where am I?” A sharp pain flashed through Chel’s head. She rubbed her forehead and mumbled, “Where are the kids?”
“Kids?” The trio of creatures hopped down onto the bed, making it sway more as they bounced in an otter like fashion toward Chel. “Oh,” The blue creature chirped and looked alertly at Chel, “They’re in different quarters.”
“Trasik told us to keep you company.” The yellow and green one trilled happily.
“Are you hungry?” The third inquired curiously.
“Keep you company”? Stop you wandering around, more like. Probably to stop her going to find the kids or trying to find a way to get away.
Do they know Chel has a relay?
How can Trasik have such cuties?
Anyone who holds a position even the slightest bit political in nature carries two faces with them at all times….
Do not be lulled by the cute~!

I’m torn between thinking Trasik has some clever plan and thinking she’s just completely insane and has no clue what she’s doing from one day to another.

*frowns* This doesnt add up if you ask me Traisk doesnt seem like the kind of person that would have these freindly happy go lucky Dice…. Something tells me these things are some sort of dice that can alter there apperance.

Let’s face it no matter what we will continue to think of them as cute and cuddly. Now the question here is whether or not Chel will be seduced by the cuteness or be wary of a plot?

Is Trasik pronounced “trace-ick” or “trass-ick” ?
This is a confusement.
OR they could just be cute, unfortunate, little dice. I’d say the dragon/energy-like dice is more of the guard/one to be leery of. Why else would it (he?) be there?
They’re probably there to try to make chel forget that she’s prisoner, they’re not the guards….that energy/sirius look alike probably is. Any guesses that it’s super fast?
“Are you hungry?” Disturbingly, this reminds me of the “Special of the Day” at The Restaurant at the End of The Universe.
My question was what does ‘are you hungry’ have to do with keeping Chel company?
Good hospitality demands the host keep their guests (captives) fed doesn’t it? The whatsits are surrogate hosts for Trasik . . . and perhaps edible.
Remember when Drift turned from “totally adorable fluffball” to “fiendish nightmare creature” in a split second?
