Satisfied with her handiwork at turning the ribbon into confetti, Stealth shook her mane. Several curls fell and loosened. She flopped on her side and rolled, flipping her wings up and wriggling on her back. The large cat laid there for a moment, sniffing the cool breeze coming off the ocean. It smelled of salt and fish ... and thick moisture. A violet light lit up the sky over the ocean, followed by a second flash. "Last thing I want is to be caught out in that storm." Stealth rolled over with a grunt and shook herself. She'd worry about grooming later. In a single jump from sitting she cleared the balcony wall and soared down into the trees. "I think I can get out there and back before it begins to downpour." The clouds rolled in thinly at first. They hung low and brought with them a rush of wind that pushed the winged cat down a bit faster than she intended. It had been a long time since she wings and while it was second nature to her, she was out of practice. She hit a clump of weeds and ended up rolling in sticky sand. Well, she had intended to groom herself later. She hauled herself up out of the sand, shook and trotted quickly into the trees. This wouldn't take long.
