Lexx angled his wings and swung Acadiu in front of him just as they were about to hit the ground ahead of him.  The two slid across the rough rocky rust colored ground, kicking up a considerable amount of dirt and dust. Acadiu took the full brunt of the fall, and only the remaining cushion of his rapidly fading wings kept his back from being completely torn up by the impact.  Unfortunately, they could do nothing to help his ribs.  There was a horribly loud cracking sound, adding to the already intense pain racking Acadiu's body.  'Fast,… faster than me!  Much stronger!'  Acadiu's only thought was to shield his already bleeding head. Lexx loomed over him, wings outstretched  to their full extent.  "Random weapon!"  He called out his next move, letting the nanites begin their work.  His right arm tingled as energy built up, his attention fully on Acadiu.  "Run!  Quit!  Give up!  I am going to kill you!  Don't make me do this!" "I can't,… what Saign would do to me is worse than death!"  responded Acadiu, trying to work up a defense.  Lexx knelt forward pressing his knee into Acadiu's stomache more in an attempt to encourage Acadiu to do as he wanted and call the battle.  Lexx had no choice but to keep on fighting him unless he did and he knew that the Sairah had to be in a lot of pain judging by the shaking of his body and the ragged breaths he was drawing in short gasps. "… then I suppose we both win and lose this way!"  Lexx straddled Acadiu to be in the best possible position. Acadiu winced.  He could barely move and really didn't want to.  This was the worst fight he had ever been in.  Most of the time, he went through First Blood fights or wrestling.  Not battles that ended up with busted ribs, intense pain and that swirling sensation of an oncoming blackout.  His nanites were working as fast as they could to repair the damage, but it did nothing for the crippling pain.
