"Dad," Chel was startled, but kept her composure. "When I started college, you said that I was old enough to make my own decisions about where I go as long as I told you where I was." The look on her father's face was completely unexpected. Was he actually afraid?
"That does not include leaving the planet, Chel!" Vic grated.
You know, Victor does have a point. How can he help her if she’s s million light years away. Of course, seeing how “effective” and “honest” Victor has been with her so far, this may be a plus.
