"I'm Chel…" Her reply was almost a whisper. "I'm here to see Lexx … or Damian?"
"Chel?" The dice ambled toward them slowly. It dropped its head down toward Chel, lowing from standing on four legs to six. It didn't seem any less threatening at the response. "How do I know you are who you say you are?"
"Uhm." Chel squirmed, "Fluffy knows me?"
"Fluffy has stardust for brains." The monster grunted dismissively.
Fluffy sat down next to Chel. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth and she showed no sign of having understood the comment. Chel sighed.
