"Stealth?" Lexx stared at the cat uncertainly. Chel turned her attention to her, wondering why she was acting so uncharacteristically.
The cat mumbled something.
"Stealth?" Chel inquired curiously. What had she done?
Stealth's ears twitched and she took a step back, her wide eyes still staring at Lexx as though terrified of him.
"Stealth?" Lexx snapped at her.
"Epsy's laying eggs on the island!" Stealth flung back her head and blurted the words out in a roar. She had not wanted to say anything, but Lexx needed to know what was going on before he found out on his own and thought she was keeping something important from him. He never reacted well when she didn't give him all the details she knew about things that might affect him.
