Lexx suddenly stopped trying to move, leaving a bewildered Serenity and Sirius growling and forcefully trying to hold him down, then staring at him awkwardly in indecision. They weren’t entirely sure that he was really unconscious. Tremors were passing through his body and his hands were twitching involuntarily.
Serenity tentatively lightened her hold on Lexx and pushed his head gently to see if she got any reaction. Sirius crouched nearby, observing curiously. Neither were sure of what to do now that Lexx was not moving and both were feeling very awkward. Lexx wasn’t responding but he was still clearly alive. Now they worried if they had inadvertently hurt him more than they intended.
