Lexx shivered. He was still cold from being down on the surface and while he kept the Rift’s temperature cool, it was much too chilly for his comfort. It did serve to distract him from being anxious over the upcoming encounter with Chel and Maenae. Drift crossed the living area and clambered onto the couch, tucking his paws under his fluffy body and immediately going to sleep. Stealth yawned and stretched nearby, flexing her much longer claws out and lightly into the floor. “Are we leaving immediately?” Chel slid Lexx’s coat off her shoulders. “Sooner we leave, the faster we get back.” Lexx shrugged, rubbing his shoulders in an attempt to bring warmth to them. “Would it be any trouble for me to go home and call my parents?” Chel went on and asked. “Y’know,… let them know I’m still alive.” “As long as it doesn’t take too long.” Lexx turned away from her, wondering if he’d get to play more video games while they were there. Half an hour wouldn’t be a problem. He’d caught a dice today. There would be another one tomorrow when they returned from meeting Maenae.

  1. i like how you write as if you are writing a book underneath the comic. I always read both because i feel like i get more out of it than if either were just alone 🙂

    1. ya know what’s funny? I didn’t even realize that there was more to the story until I got pretty far in it, And when I did, I did a face desk, and went back to read the full story! LOL, and I regret nothing!

    2. I know! The comic’s funny, but the writing is deep and beautiful that adds layers to the story, and there are some pretty major plot points that aren’t revealed in the comic.
