"I care about you-" Lexx stared uncertainly into the littan girl's eyes.
"Don't you love me?" Her fingers wandered and Chel shifted her gaze upward. Just what she wanted to see.
"I don't know." Lexx pulled back nervously.
"It won't kill you." Clarice smiled, sliding her right hand upward along Lexx's cheek and into his hair. Then she leaned forward and kissed Lexx fully on the lips. His entire body went noticeably stiff with surprise.
