Chel had the glass tipped up now after she had the first sip. It was good, fizzy and excessively sweet. She could see why it'd probably make Zeta sick. It made her feel lightheaded. "Whoa! And I thought the sodas on Earth were pure sugar!" She commented.
"Sugar?" Lexx smirked, "That causes too many health issues. Sela is made from a sweetener that comes from a fungus,…" He started to explain exactly how it was grown and cultured, not noticing Chel's wide-eyed expression at the thought of drinking something made from fungus.
