“I am just looking for Chel…” said Lexx. He narrowed his eyes suspiciously at Zaile.
“I believe Riley took the humans to their rooms.” Zaile responded cordially.
Lexx spun around, intending to get away from him as soon as he could. He didn’t want to know why he was here. Lexx just wanted him to go away.
“… wait …” Zaile sighed. He was out of his element. Just the thought of talking to Lexx was draining. He didn’t want to talk to him. But if he did not, he would hear it from Maelinn and she was still much more important to him than the cold shoulder he was justifiably receiving from Lexx.
