“You don’t like this game.” Victor went right to the point and Riley accepted that he was going to have to entertain the human. Maybe that wasn’t such a bad thing. He was not sure yet.
“No. I don’t. Not this game.” Riley nodded and started walking down the hallway again. “It’s fine when they enjoy it and a lot of the dice do.” The littan chose his words carefully. His mind was on the animals at the moment. Lexx was taken care of for now and he did not feel like discussing his particular aspect of the game or he might lose all control. “They’re just so stubbornly loyal they go against their own natures to please their owners.”
