Chel turned away from Lexx with a spring in her step. “Lexx, why don’t you stay here while Riley shows my father and Keith his ship.”
“Are you staying?” Lexx asked hopefully.
“I should go with them.” Chel pointed out fading from view. “Dad is going to want to talk to you when we get back, so you might think about what you want to say to him.”
“I really don’t like that you brought them here without talking to me first.” Lexx stated.
“I know. I’ll explain everything when I get a free moment over the relay.”
“It takes less than a moment – “
“I don’t want to be distracted. Now please let me go. I’ll let you know the moment we get back.
“Ok …” Lexx agreed reluctantly ending the conversation.
