"Fascinating turn of events,.. from a nonfinancial angle." Zaile sighed. "How so?" "The girl is a distraction." "I don't know about that Zaile." Riley attempted to see the brighter side of the situation and get Zaile to see it as well. They never looked at things the same way and probably never would. Riley was beginning to get worried and concerned for the girl's safety. Zaile wasn't the type to care a lot about who he hurt to get to his goals. The ends always justified the means to him, especially with those he didn't know. It was different once Zaile knew someone. He made it a point to keep himself away from such relations and used Riley many times to set things up. Riley didn't mind most of the time, because nobody ever really got hurt. There had been a few times he had refused to do as Zaile wanted and he had found someone else to do it. In this case, Lexx was Riley's friend and Riley thought perhaps, he could maneuver things into Lexx's favor in the end and help Zaile with his quest. "She could be a good focal point for Lexx." Riley pointed out. "True,…" Zaile conceded. "But she is also an unpredictable element." "Lexx is an unpredictable element." Riley smirked as the two began to walk. "Yes, but he is also the only dice in my hand." Zaile stated, amused at his allusion.
