"Oh!" Stealth slid quietly through the ferns that ringed the clearing. "Judgement day." Stealth watched Epsy from the safety of the ferns. Epsy seemed to be waddling more than walking and the look in her eyes was completely animal. There was nothing of the Epsy Stealth knew in those eyes.
"It's time ... what do I tell Lexx?" Stealth mused to herself. "Do I forget I know anything? No ... no. I doubt Lexx will believe that I, who knows what all the dice are doing at any given time - wouldn't know about this." She grimaced and flicked her ears back in annoyance. This was not something she had wanted on her shoulders.
