Meanwhile, Claudia went into her closet on the island with a mission. Her best dresses and outfits had been transferred to a little cramped bedroom that Damian had let her use for the party. The quarters were far beneath what Claudia was accustomed to and lacked furnishings, but she wouldn't be here for long.
"I must find a dress that will outdo Chel's. Damian has excellent taste, but I have a bigger wardrobe and knowing what Chel is wearing puts me ahead in this game." Claudia opened one of the dress bags and took out a gold and orange dress. She already had several prime choices, each one a different color. "And I can easily coordinate my body to match." Claudia grinning at the possibilities and array of combinations running through her head.
"This one will be stunning." She removed the dress from its bag and walked out of the closet.

Well, too bad that Chel will not be wearing the dress Damian got…but rather the dress Riley got her. I doubt you can trump that 🙂
