“Chel?” For a moment, Chel thought she was imagining it, but no, that was Lexx’s voice she was hearing in her head. “Can I talk to you now?”
“I don’t know.” Chel replied over the relay, happy that she was talking to Lexx, but annoyed at what she had just realized.
He stood before her in the relay against a light golden background, looking awkward and guilty. “You’re right.” Lexx nodded slowly, running a hand through his hair nervously. “I thought if I died or was captured, you would be safe.”
“I’m so mad at you right now!” Chel ran at Lexx, hands up, unsure of if she wanted to hit him or hug him. “You can’t just make that kind of decision!”
“Calm down.” Lexx threw his hands up to fend off Chel and keep her back far enough that he could talk and look directly at her. “I didn’t die.”

Caught up! There will not be any updates next week due to the July 4th holiday AND working on a new site design. While I'm at it, I removed the ad agency that was causing problems a couple months ago and would appreciate it if readers would not block the ads. We depend heavily on ad revenue and donations to pay the bills and run on a very tight budget at the moment. We need all of the ad revenue we can get, especially when the monthly goal is not reached. No ad money = no food, as in... basic food.
Tomorrow's the last day of the month and there's still $200 to go! See below for original art auctions as well ending July 1st.

I just went through the archives (again). Love this comic, the art, the storylines! I’m reasonably certain that if this was in a book form (graphic novel or just text), I would cry sometimes. You have really compelling characters and a well-constructed setting for them.

I truly wish I could donate allot and often, but being on disability really makes it so you are living on the basics by the skin of your teeth. -wilts- I love this comic Tiff, Lexx…Chel…the dice… everytime I read it, it just makes my day so much brighter and I find myself giggling like a little girl. I always have a fear that I will look here soon and find out you are quitting Alien Dice. Gah…that day is gonna break my heart into pieces >.< </3

My budget for this month is currently -$480 to be made by the 15th. 😀 Maybe next month, maybe not. Depends on if I can round up $480 all the way round… then gas and groceries. Bought groceries and delayed a couple of bills that don’t charge for being a little late, but I can’t do that repeatedly. I’ll have to make a decision at the end of July. Did so well up until June, the month I said I’d make a decision on if the goal wasn’t able to be met each month. I have to do something at some point and it’s really nobody’s fault… well.. I could name one person whose fault it is quite angrily. Ad revenue is just not what it was.
