"Your scientists are probably attempting to decipher quite a few anomalies in transmissions, empty spots in the sky and such." Lexx did not take his eyes off the control panel and screen in front of him. "By the time they figure it out, we will be gone." Chel frowned at the statement. Wasn't Lexx planning on staying? Why did he say 'we' would be gone? Maybe he just meant no longer in orbit. Yes, that had to be it. "They'll never know exactly what was going on. Which is best. I wouldn't want your scientists looking for me." Lexx shivered noticeably at the thought. Little did Lexx know, they already knew. Vic had reached the surveillance van earlier in the morning while It was still dark. He was completely unaware of what was going on with his daughter and had spent the morning hours drinking a few cups of coffee and eating donuts.
