I don’t quite understand this story line, is this a part of the main story line or is this a side story meant to explain something in the main story line.

These ones featuring this boy Taumus (aka Lexx’s father) are genetic memories that Riane found buried in Lexx’s subconscious. She put them in order and is now presenting them to Lexx via dream, as Lexx sleeps in the bed during the time after he fights Trasik and his nanites are infected (that’s when the wiki says this happens, anyway). The flashback with Alexx and the slaves, as well as the being that appeared to Taumus in the bed a few strips ago, were both genetic memories that *Taumus* was experiencing (the former in the form of a daydream) from the original memories of *Alexx*, an ancestor of both Taumus and Lexx along the male line. It also seems that he knew of the genetic memory phenomenon and purposefully curated some of his memories to be passed down to certain progeny, of which Taumus (and therefore Lexx) are special in some way.
Not Lexx, one of Lexx’s relatives; Taumus. Remember, Lexx can connect to his past families memories. Not sure how, I can’t remember. But this is one of Lexx’s family members, I wanna say his father for some reason.
