Zeta took a quick run around the surrounding area. It was green, green everywhere. Except where it was blue. The sallomandyr hopped curiously toward the sparkling pool that had caught his eye. He hopped to see the surrounding area better and almost wound up slipping into the pool once he reached the edge.
Nobody was around. Zeta bobbed his head and splashed noisily into the water. A skilled hunter he wasn't. Zeta splashed about a few more feet before settling on a place in the shallows where the current was strong. Surely something edible would drift right into his waiting jaws.
"Rocks. Mud. Leaves." Epsy scooped up a large lump of thick mud in her forepaws and carried it to the hollow among the rocks. She had a layer of leaves on the bottom and was now working on a layer of mud to press into the crevices around them.
"Here feesh… here feesh!" Zeta growled softly.

It’s just you. Well, maybe not just you. Everybody has their own impression of the adorable little sallomandyr. Zeta, to me, has a funny little accent.

Actually – I usually hear Elmo’s voice from Epsy. I get more of a Cookie Monster vibe from Zeta.

I hear Epsy as sounding like Ducky from the Land Before Time.

Same here! I hear a deeper-toned Stitch (from Lilo and Stitch) for Zeta.

Every time Zeta talks I hear Guilomon’s voice from “Digimon Tamers” English voice actor.
