There were only a few guests standing in Lexx's way when he slowed to a walk and just stopped. She was standing there with a huge grin on her face. He wondered for a moment if he had actually seen her smile like that before and how long ago that had been. Would she lose that smile if he showed up?
"I just want to stand here and look at her." For a moment, he felt a desire to sink back into the crowd and let her find him when she wanted to. "I don't want to interrupt her." Would that be the way she would prefer it?
"I don't want to ruin the dream." He stared, oblivious to the aliens around him.
Then he slowly began to make his way to Chel.
