Riane suddenly turned ominous, her demeanor darkening as she rose back to her feet in an unnaturally and disturbingly fast motion. “I’m a death cry, a soul echo.” Lexx couldn’t suppress a shiver, his eyes locked on Riane as though she were a ghastly spectre and not a pretty young woman. “Not like that!” Riane laughed and spun in a giddy circle on the branch. “Riane was happy that you killed her, Lexx. It was the only way for her to make a difference!” Stone silent faces with still gaping mouths stared up at Riane and she felt a little sorry for taking it this far. They were truly frightened of her, even if they didn’t have to be. Edit: 7/26 Being sick is likely why I was in such a horribly down mood on Tuesday. :D (Which makes me feel better, because... I now feel better.) I think I'm over it even though it had me foggy headed most of Tuesday and Wednesday. Didn't realize I even was sick until I got really hot on Tuesday evening. I will likely be updating a wallpaper at some point today. The Kickstarter ends today and has more than doubled the needed amount - yay! ALL profits will be added to the tally, which is likely what I will do with all future Kickstarters to make us more comfortable. More comfortable as in.. buying food and gas and such things that need to be taken care of. :D Big news is that all the pain we've gone through in keeping everything caught off paid off in a conversation with the mortgage company we're going to deal with. We qualify just fine for an FHA loan at 3.5% for a home up to 120K - which ... with PMI AND taxes.. will be nearly the same as rent. Yes. We pay too much in rent when that equals it. :/ Getting the tax break with a mortgage will be a plus in stabilizing our finances and offsetting the double taxes I pay for working from home. Step one was keeping our credit clean and it is. Step two is actually SAVING money for a down payment, which will more than likely begin next year since we have Kim's doctor bills to cover right now. THEN, I can have ROOM to start ordering larger orders of books, which saves me money and will also save readers money. :D One of the things standing in the way of me doing more merchandise is simply ROOM to store them. :( 1,000 books takes up a lot of room.. now imagine.. 5,000! Things are still tight, but not so bad by this September and even better next September when we pay off the car. We'll finally be recovered from all the medical debt and be able to move forward where we should have been years ago. (And yes, if we can ditch the PMI, we will. I have a set goal in mind, set for a 120K house, but will likely be hoping for something more in the 60K realm. ;) The Texas market did not divebomb like the rest of the markets, because homes here are reasonable for the standard of living for the most part and were not inflated. This all gives me a bit more push to get things done, so I'm going to do my best to keep up and get those books worked on. See below for another Kickstarter post. D'OH! I'm sorry - I've been sick since yesterday and FORGOT to upload! - Tiff

  1. *Giggles* I love the undead creep factor in panel 1. It makes her seem bipolar in comparison to panel 3.

    1. Rather unnerved Lexx, too, which may have been the point.

  2. Evil to Happy in under 2 seconds!

    Yesiree, everyone needs to get a Soul Echo now!

    Hurry, supplies are limited.

  3. I am SO GLAD that Chel’s father is not able to be in the relay with them!

  4. Next time you want to avoid a reaction like that, don’t invert your voice’s text colors. That’s just common sense.

  5. Yay! Death huggies! Kiss* and make up!

    *of death >:=)>
