Sparks rippled through Dash’s fur, straight up his spine, sending each hair erect. It was enough of a pain to him that he didn’t sink his claws into Epsy, instead spreading his forelegs in shock and digging into the ground.

Epsy scooted out from under the tiger and twisted her head around, mouth open wide, “Ice Block!” She squeaked. Dash didn’t know what hit him s a blast of pale blue light washed over him, encasing his legs, neck and shoulders in a block of freezing cold ice.

“Mrrr,” Dash twitched the claws of his only free foreleg, testing the ice. He was stuck fast.
