"Everything here is familiar and safe." Chel sighed. "It's like I never met Lexx-" That mental statement sent a shiver through Chel. Never met him? If she had never met Lexx, there was so much she would have missed out on. Dangerous or not, she would never wish away the experience.
"Hey, Chel!" Chel didn't have long to linger on the finer details about what she would have missed. Someone had called her name and she could feel the telltale sensation that her sunlight was being full blocked.
