“We could issue other measures.” First stated nervously, hoping he could persuade Andisel to rethink her decision.
“Why bother?” Andisel threw her hands in the air. “Lexx has been an increasing waste of our resources. It’s time to put an end to this.”
First’s mouth opened, but nothing came out. He closed his mouth and opened it again. This time, a squeak came out. First tried again. This time he found his voice. “Andisel, if he wins The Gauntlet he will be FREE.” His words came out in a strained tone.
“That did not concern you before.” Andisel fixed him with a critical look. She had never seen her trusted employee acting in such an uncharacteristic way.

Everything's GOOD. Kim went off to school well and I'm way behind in comic work, but I'm NOT going to worry about it. It will be done faster if I don't think about it. :D Text will be caught up next week, right now concentrating on getting all those pages out I promised. So there is a M-F update week THIS week and possibly next week if I work hard enough.
The Swiftpaw plush drive is moving along steadily! Next week, I will begin updating a special Swiftpaw intro story, available only to supporters. To be a supporter, you just have to come in on the $5 donation tier to help get the toys made. Helping at that small level would be very, very beneficial to getting it made! I'm sure some of you smarter people will figure out an alternate way of getting the exclusive Swiftpaw stories for less and I will stare at you, have all three of my starving (they think they're starving) pets, that's one little corgi, a fat fluffy calico and a cranky, half blind cat, and my 9 year old who wants one, stare at you, until you feel thoroughly guilty for cheating the system.
There will be two exclusive Swiftpaw stories. The first will be black and white and begins updating while the kickstarter is in play. The second story will be oriented toward kids (because I need to do a kid's book), which means it will be a 'light' story featuring Swiftpaw before he's picked up and put into the game. It will also be in simple color.. unless I decide I'm insane again and get the brilliant idea to watercolor it. Updates will be emailed to you via Kickstarter.

Well before it looked like a bunch of things would finish Lexx off before he could tattle on ADC. Now it looks like he’s doing better then ever.
I think the chairwomen of the ADC has finally cracked.

Or that full male guy has cracked. Wasn’t he preening about how much he loved his job of kidnapping and terrorizing children just a bit ago?
What changed? The concern that the runty pup he spent years kicking might finally figure out that it can bite his leg off now that it’s grown?

Um, Andisel? Any plan that causes your minions to jawdrop dramatically is probably just a little flawed.
But then again, it’s a chance to kill or subjugate Lexx. Especially if Andisel rigs it with fighters specifically tailored to beat his fighting style.
Which probably changed now that Lexx has been upgraded and repaired by the Grays.
