"I ... don't understand. I thought ..." Lexx stumbled over his words. He had placed the eyes, but was unsure what to think about it all.
"I'm sure Zaile will be more than happy to explain!" Riley smirked.
Zaile snarled and blurted out a few choice swear words in Lexx's direction. Then he turned and stomped into the background, vanishing.
"He'll come around." Riley shrugged, trying to be encouraging to Lexx. Lexx was still not so certain about what was going on. Zaile? Zaile was his brother. From their one brief encounter this Rishan was very well off. How had this happened? He didn't recall his mother mentioning he had a brother... or a sister. He had been very young, but he felt he should have remembered something. Especially about a younger sister.
