Maybe I shouldn’t even mention it. I can just ask to see Chel. Lexx shuffled his feet, knowing he was going to be at the door soon and probably standing in front of a man who would want an explanation. I could just talk to Chel over the relay. I don’t have to talk to her father. He slowed to a stop, considering turning and walking away. He could use the relay. Eventually I will have to. He told himself, staring at the door in front of him.
He was there and Chel was waiting on the other side.

In that case, it would be Claudia, having just finished telling Victor every story she could think up about Lexx’s shortcomings, and reasons why he should never be allowed near Chel again.
