Lexx didn't notice that Chel had knelt next to him and was trying to see the extent of his injuries. She had forgotten about his nanos at the sight of the blood trickling from his nose and down his face and wanted to stop the bleeding ... as soon as she could find where the bleeding was coming from.
Lexx blinked, feeling Chel dab the sleeve of her dress against his cheek.
"Stop it." He gently pushed Chel away. "You're going to get blood all over yourself."
"It's just a dress." Chel stated. She was still looking at Lexx in worried concern.
Lexx frowned staring into her eyes. It was unnecessary for her to be so upset. He was fine. It was just blood. Then, something snapped inside.
Lexx lifted his hand and caressed Chel's cheek. She didn't move.

Head wounds naturally bleed way worse than the wound would make you believe it could. Seriously a small scratch is like a waterfall.

Lexx is a huge bloody mess, but he’s actually fine. Just a little bit of blood can cover a lot of area. You only need to worry when there’s enough for it to be pooling on the floor. And even then, you would be surprised at just how little blood it takes to make it look like someone’s been shot or stabbed.
