Swift's agility brought with it speed - for short distances. Otherwise, he ran like a normal earth fox. For a couple of seconds, he was a blue blur, streaking across a field. He had no idea where they were, just that they were there. 'Why does he always send energy after me?!" The fox could hear the baying all around him, but see nothing. There was only one dice it could be that would be caught before him. 'No, no, no!  I'm not ready to go back!! I want to stay here!!' The freedom Swift had enjoyed over the last two weeks was enough to make him want to retain it. He ran as hard as he could, fleeing in a panicked dash. The howling echoed all around him and then,… began to fade. Swift didn't slow down until his sharp ears detected nothing but the sound of his panting and paws hitting the ground. Swift clambered up a downed tree trunk, 'I don't hear him anymore!  Maybe I-'  He reached the top, then hopped down. The moment his forepaws hit what looked like solid ground, Swift realized his error.  There was a loud crack and the sound of falling earth, then the fox vanished into a deep hole. He landed with a loud thump on top of something small and hard. It grunted and thumped Swift on the head. "Tag." Dig snorted, glaring at the exhausted fox. "… hello, Dig …" Swift panted heavily, knowing it would take more effort than he had energy to get back out of the hole. He had lost again.
