Lexx did not waste any time after he'd recovered Swift. He set out after the next dice. This one had landed in Australia and was, like Mischief, a troublesome dice. Rook was enjoying herself.  Her original base had come from a very arid world and this place felt so much like home. This base was even close to resembling her original one.  Her ears were standing upright in attention, curiously taking in everything around her like she had for the last 13 days.  She couldn't get enough of it. She had taken up with a mob of kangaroos that had just over a dozen members.  Now, she was relaxing and taking in a little sun with a warm breeze ruffling her short brown fur.  Rook was singing to herself in the way of her kind, a melodic birdlike twittering and humming.  She would spend the day like this.  Munching on grass, singing, hopping for the sheer fun of it. But then,… she saw the door open across the plain.  Rook pushed herself upright and kicked off in a few short jumps.  Yes, just as she thought.  They had arrived!  She watched as Lexx stepped through the glimmering door, then Zeta and Steel strode through.  Rook cocked her head, trying to figure out what they were saying, but was too far away to actually hear anything. Zeta and Steel suddenly turned and ran in Rook's direction.  She had not made any effort to hide herself and liked it that way. "Oooh,.. today's entertainment has arrived!"  Rook chortled as soon as Zeta and Steel were close enough to hear her. "Rook come with us or want fight?"  Zeta slowed down to a trot, Steel clomping in a slower pace next to him.  Zeta circled to the right while Steel went to the left.  Rook arched her neck, raising the long feathers of hair along the back of her neck in a threatening manner while a smile creased her muzzle.  "Lesseee,…  which is more fun…?"  She chirped.

  1. I know it wouldn’t make much sense since they should all have nearly the same “galactic standard’ accent, but for some reason I always hear Rook speaking with an aussie accent since shes a kangaroo.
