Back on Earth, Chel had just stepped through the door back to her room. She twirled around once and landed across her bed on her back. Chel had a delightfully warm, tingly sensation going through her entire body. She sighed happily and stretched her arms out above her head.
"Aaaah!! I feel so good!!" Chel smiled to herself, then folded her arms under her head, her thoughts shifting to a more serious direction. "Still, there's a lot to think about. A lot to figure out. I have to be careful-"
"Chel." Kip skirted across the bed and sat down next to Chel, waving at her estatically. "I just thought I'd mention Dad's home."
"… Dad?!" Chel's body went cold so fast it sent a cramping pain up her back. Had she really been gone that long? He shouldn't have arrived home yet! Did he know where she had been?
