Energy watched Lexx vanish into the sleeping area and padded over to the couch. He sat in front of it and leaned back with a sad look on his face. Stealth rolled back over onto her stomach and stared at him, waiting. "Do you ever wonder what it will be like when Lexx doesn't need us anymore, Stealth?" Energy spoke quietly. "Hrrr... what do you mean?" Stealth cocked her head curiously. "Lexx is not rich now... there are many of us. Do you think he will take care of us?" Energy asked. "You think too much, Energy." Stealth snorted, repeating the very words that had been spoken to her not too long ago. She justified it quickly. Energy really did think too much. He wasn't the most vocal of the dice, but he did think and mull over things more than she did. These were things that were not important to Stealth. She knew she had Chel. She had a home and there would probably be homes for the others too, but that wasn't her full concern.

  1. Energy has a point though. Lexx would never be able to sustain them. And if he and Chel get together, where would your home be, hm?

Because, you see…it’s easier to take care of a squirrel or an owl, rather than a mountain lion.
