Lexx was smiling, but inside his thoughts were electrified. How thoughtless he had been. "I ... didn't give Chel anything! There has not been time! I should have made time!" Lexx scolded himself.
"I need to talk to you later, Riley." Chel cast a serious look in Riley's direction.
"Sure!" Riley smiled innocently.
Chel pulled her hand from Lexx's and stood looking up at him. The move confused him. He left his hand outstretched and smiled. "I hope she's not offended about the kiss .. she didn't hit me this time, but she hasn't said anything about it either."
"Lexx ..." Chel began slowly.
