I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. :D I took a break and .. worked .. I finished this piece on my net tablet, which actually WORKS and works well. Most of it was done on the old one and I'm not well practiced in working on a piece in this way. The drawing was also a very old one, but one I liked. I'll probably redo it properly at a later time, but for now, I thought it was cute and needed something to post today.
I spent this week setting up the new tablet, working through its intricacies and working on Christmas Cards. That's what I'm doing at the moment to work on paying it off. Now I'm going to go and see why my husband isn't up since he woke me up late last night saying we were going to Toys R Us to get Kim a scooter at 7AM. It's now 8:15 AM. I'm ready. It's the only thing she's getting for Christmas, so we have to find one cheap. :D That means braving the crowds this morning. (We even have a $10 card that the sent us, probably hoping we'd spend several hundred dollars. ;)
Oh, minor note - there will not be story updates next week most likely. Not certain, but most likely.

That’s actually a great show of affection, if your cat brings you something it killed itself. It says ” I like you so much I temporarily forgo-ed my feline pride to do something nice for someone else, namely you.” My old cat did that when my Grandma died. She new something had happened to make us all sad so she brought us a dead chipmunk as a condolence.

my cat just bring’s me snails and damp sticks, which are not very nice to find on your pillow at 3AM !

That’s actually just as good if not better. S/he is giving you things that s/he likes (the snails to bat at and play with and the sticks to sharpen claws and teeth) you must really love your cat and vice versa.

I’ve heard cats giving “gifts” is actually out of pity because they think you can’t hunt/forge for yourself.
