A soft golden glow suddenly bathed the balcony. Lexx jumped to his feet, pushing the dice aside. He forgot about being tired and rushed forward with one thought on his mind, “… Chel …” The brilliant light of Chel’s door loomed before him and Lexx couldn’t help but feel cheery. She would be walking through at any moment.
“Chel …” Lexx grinned seeing a very slight disturbance in the door’s surface and a shadow that signified that someone was stepping through.
