I'm shading tonight, as you can see, which means the comic is on schedule DESPITE the people around me. :D When I am done with the other comics, I will update text. Next week should find me on time, caught up and going into the new year strongly. Only, this year, I'm giving Alien Dice six months, then I'm going to look at it and see how it's going and how I want to continue. The only changes I'm likely to make are no longer coloring it. It takes me two to three times more work time to do one page of AD than any one page of ANYTHING else I'm doing and I'm not really going to say why. I know why. But I'm still going to turn out the pages with a goal of not missing any updates and finally regaining my lost momentum. Since I've removed all my distractions (except the present child and husband who are on vacation this week while I'm not ...) I should be okay at least through March. They get a week off for Spring Break. My ultimate goal is to get a buffer again!
Sometimes... you just have to work through a block. Sometimes, you have to stop and work on something else for awhile until the block just lifts suddenly out of nowhere and it starts filling your mind. At the moment, my mind is more filled with AD: CUT. I've RESISTED scripting any of it... but I'm thinking that maybe if I start scripting it might jar my enthusiasm.
Last week, I struggled for several days to try to get comics done - then admitted I couldn't do it halfway through and worked on commissions and the store. (I can't do any extra artwork for New Year's ... sorry...) The new store is on Zazzle and wow.. I get a 10% cut there... 25% if done through this link. (There's even a calendar, filled with older pieces and almost everything is customizable. You can add the text you want to!) Much better than Cafepress and they don't force me to pay for the store every month... I never made anything off the old store even though a few people bought stuff... I ended up owing Cafepress $25. :(
So it's the end of 2010. It wasn't a fun year, but we survived. Now we just have to make it to July. There are sites that didn't make it this year, which was sad to read about.

T_T for no color. Color is what gives this comic its ambiance and flair. Would you be able to color the pages afterward, like how you add text, PLEASE?!
@ Angry Riley: No not the flower, now how will you get sun to help you fend off the undead hordes. (If anybody gets that reference you get 400 bonus points.)

I love this webcomic. It’s one of the few I still read after my crazy comic addiction days.
I only read like five now, and AD is maybe the top of the list.
