Sirius tossed his head, walking on all fours with his thick fur sticking upright in agitation. The focus of his anger, Stealth, was crouched on the floor with one paw wrapped around the bowl of eggs. Several were still spinning around her where they’d fallen from the bowl when she took it from Keith. Her jaws were parted and lips curled back, showing off her massive canines. She snarled and batted at one of the eggs, rolling it toward her and into her mouth. Serenity gave her a disapproving glare. Beside her, Keith looked mildly startled. Swiftpaw cowered behind Keith’s legs. “Just because you don’t want to play doesn’t give you any right to interrupt our fun,” hissed Sirius. He continued pacing, lifting his feet higher than need be and swishing his long tail in serpentine motions that continued up his entire body. His head, however, was kept completely level, holding Stealth in his line of vision. “I want eggs too.” Stealth snarled, gripping the bowl closer to her chest with one hand while scooping up one of the stray eggs with her other paw and popping it into her mouth. She chomped down on it in exaggerated bites, wrinkling her nose in defiance. --------------------------------------------------- Welp, Nightmare Nights was a pretty big bust in the profit area, but it did raise money for a worthy charity, so I can feel good about that even if my bank account doesn't. I was able to get a lot of product made thanks to it, so that's a plus and it was a good trial run for my new convention setup, which I'm going to improve upon for Furry Fiesta next year. Since I wasn't doing a lot of sales work, I struggled all day Saturday to get MOST of a page of the comic colored on my Ativ. The Ativ had just updated to Windows 8.1 the week before and had been having problems, so it was extremely slow since it was dragging a lot, but Samsung pushed a digitizer update today that FIXED the problems and I was able to finish the page this evening to get it up.
