"Good. What did they do to you?" Lexx inquired curiously. "I think they gave me a shot for every disease in existence." Chel grinned at Lexx rubbing her left shoulder for emphasis. Truthfully, it hadn't been that bad. She lost count of all the injections, inhalants, swabs, and other minor procedures that she and Keith had undergone. "Oh, the injections? My nanites had to neutralize them." Lexx stated casually, "Some had traces of harmful elements." "That was the point." Chel grimaced, then laughed. "Purposely infecting me with disease?" Lexx made a confused face. Humans had strange ideas. ------------------------------ Everything is going good comic wise! SEEEE TEXT IS CURRENT!! - Tiff

  1. And apparently vaccination is the one thing these intelligent aliens didn’t invent.

  2. Any idea why the site was down today? It is still loading slow for me. Also love their outfits the style is relaxing.

    1. I have no idea why it went down, asking. I figured it was just a glitch. Don’t like hearing it’s not loading quickly.

  4. hrm, does that mean he could have stopped the nanites from doing that, but didn’t do it because he thought they were right?

    1. Yes. He has complete control over his nanites now. His immune system was also restored. 😉 The real point is that the nanites are going to destroy any external bacteria or viruses that are foreign.

      1. which, unfortunately, means that if they are ever disabled for whatever reason, he’ll be completely vulnerable to any disease at all, having built up no natural immunities.

        1. Eh. I think nanites would be a step up. It basically functions exactly like the immune system… without all the annoying things associated with messed up immune system.

        2. Most of the time the nanites _are_ a step up.

The issue is what happens if/when the nanites stop working for whatever reason. It would be like what happened to Guardian Angel, (from PS238), when her power got turned off: She promptly got very sick and died, (don’t worry, she got better).

  5. Hey, it might be crude, but teaching your immune system what to kill is pretty effective.
