“Chel?” Lexx leaned toward her and gently kissed her cheek. He hesitated for a moment, wondering if he was being manipulating in doing it, but it felt like something he should do. Lexx just wanted her to know that despite her decision, he was going to be there, but he didn’t have the words for it. “They don’t know about the relay.” Chel stated matter of factly, doing her best not to respond to what Lexx was doing, no matter how much she wanted to accept it. There were things that Lexx seemed too naïve to grasp in just how much danger they could be in and there was one simple fact that he was overlooking. Their decisions would affect more than themselves. “They don’t know about the relay. We can keep in contact easily and I think I should stay. They’ll be watching me, I’m sure.” ---------------------------------------------------- Bahaha. It's January 12 as I type this! I CAN WORK I AM SO HAPPY I CAN WORK AND GET THINGS DONE!!!     Hehehe. Happy that the new labtop is working for you the fact you wrote that all in caps is cute. Man.. bunches of drama. He might as well be asking her to marry him and go live on the moon. Romantic but she would lose a family she is close to and the world she knows. I think it is more selfish than not realizing that fact.

      Oh come on, they could always visit. Or take the family with them for a bit first. I mean, the only way Lexx and chel could live on earth is if either Lexx stays hidden and they live alone or if humanity can be exposed to aliens, which according to regulations won’t happen…

    Yeah, I like the fact that Chel is rational and grounded, but she should either leave, or break up with Lexx. It’s becoming more and more obvious that Lexx will not be able to stay and have any sort of a decent life, and Lexx clearly wants a relationship that is physically intimate at some point. Chel wants to be married, and, presumably, have children. Neither of them are going to get the closeness that they want over the relay…. I feel that there is a point where refusing to fully commit to a relationship is cruel. Chel is heading towards that point.
