Lexx’s annoyance melted away in the face of Stealth’s visible emotions. He stepped away from her and settled back onto the side of the bed. “Wake everyone up and tell them I’m leaving.” He answered the question in a reluctant tone.
Stealth probably figured this was going to go down eventually as well as some of the other Dice.
From what is said about it, it’s the games last ditch effort to end a Dice players career that won’t quit and sign there contracts. Either it kills the player and his Dice or it maims them so much that they can’t continue the game. Seeing as no one like Lexx has won the game, it’s safe to assume that the Gauntlet has a well known and earned reputation between Dice and Dice players like Stealth and Lexx.
