Lexx let Chel’s feet touch the sand again, but lingered in the embrace, simply living in that moment and trying to memorize the warmth of her skin and the smell of her hair.

Riley glanced at the amused looks on most of the other people around him, noted that neither Keith or Vic looked amused and decided he should probably put an end to Lexx’s moment, whether he liked it or not.  Riley cleared his throat, getting Lexx to look at him, with the most withering glare he could manage.

“Sorry to interrupt, but you should be drinking nutramixes, Lexx.  We don’t know who you’re fighting next.”
