Alien Dice Day 28 03 07

“Now, now, she wsn’t the one who kidnapped you.”  Kade stepped up beside Chel in an effort to calm her. “Why are you letting her fight Lexx?!”  Chel exclaimed. “I can’t think of anyone better to fight Lexx right now.”  Kade stopped short of the glass, his back to Chel.  It did nothing to make her less anxious, but her own father standing by her side and putting a comforting arm around her succeeded.  He didn’t have to say anything.  He just had to be there.

  1. Oh? I’m curious about his reasoning. Maybe this is to throw off the ADC, while at the same time making sure Lexx has an opponent that’s he’s known to be capable of beating?

    1. Of all the times Trasik has tried to catch Lexx, the only time she’s even come remotely close, it wasn’t even her. Lexx may hate her, but if the plot twist is that she’s actually competent this time, I’ll be shocked and amazed.

  2. For some reason I’m becoming deeply suspicious of Kade. I know he and Lexx’s mother have a history, and that Lexx is Riley’s adopted brother, but despite the ties, I feel like he has his own agenda here – one that may not be in Lexx’s best interests.

  3. They needed a convincing fight. that way they can reach phase 2 (after gauntlet bring in the marines so Lexx can speak freely)

    1. not to mention getting Lexx to be able to fake a few roll with. and yeah, he needed it to be her so they could deny any family tampering, since her fiancee was the previous fighter…

  4. I wonder if this fight was scheduled for when Lexx was relatively rested and fresh.
Imagine if he was facing an enemy at the end of the Gauntlet.

  5. Kade, you magnificent bastard.

The other Trasik was the fake. This is the real one, and the real one’s goals and motivations do not necessarily even remotely match her doppelganger’s…
