Could we get some clarification on why the next match begins now instead of in half an hour? Is the amount of rest proportional to the amount of time spent in combat? (Or “combat”…)
if I remember correctly from previous pages, the gauntlet is one combatant after another for two hours followed by a break of a half hour. It will continue on in this pattern for a full 24 hours or until defeat of the one being put through the gauntlet. If any match goes to the two hour point then the match is ended in the favor of the runner and the half hour break is granted.
