Lexx watched his brother for a moment. A tiny bit of jealousy tugged at his thoughts. Riley was free to make his choices to have fun when he wanted to. Lexx could join him and have fun goofing off in the water if he wanted to, but the fact that this was wanted of him, held him firmly to the ground. This was one of the few things he had control off.
He sighed and fell back into the grass. Lexx didn’t want to watch Riley. It just made him sad that he couldn’t join him. Besides, there were other things that needed to be tended to. Things that Lexx could do laying in the cool comfort of the soft earth beneath him. He reached into his pocket to get the pair of dice he had been given.
