Chel sighed and gave Maelinn a weary look. “They need to have a private conversation with you about Lexx’s future.” Maelinn confided quietly. She put emphasis on ‘Lexx’s future’, pointing it out to Chel who immediately made another face that she couldn’t quite interpret. Great, this was the last thing Chel wanted to do right now. She just wanted a few minutes to not think about the game and now she had people wanting to talk to her about Lexx’s future. This wasn’t a conversation she felt she should even be involved in. Lexx could speak for himself. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- I am taking a vacation next week, one of those things that I'm slowly learning I need to do for my sanity. My daughter returns to school the following week. There will not be any story updates next week, but I do have a comic here I would like to get up. :D - Tiff

      They’re in a room that’s designed to block anyone one from eavesdropping, since it CAN happen, just not often.

    I recently finished rereading the whole comic because I missed quite a large chunk of it, was unable to read for a while, and I have to say I’m really enjoying this comic and it was fun to watch the progression of your drawing style. Keep up the awesome work!!

      Thank you for that! I’m still working hard on the drawing part, as well as the wrapping up to go into a new story part. 😉

    Yeah… while the soulless corporation is putting your boyfriend through the “Gauntlet” they want him to lose, step off to a private meeting with total strangers without telling anyone where you are going.

      Chel knows Maelinn. 😉 Of course, she doesn’t always think before doing things, like… getting on an alien space ship without telling anyone. She’s just sure that since Riley is involved that it’s not dangerous to talk to someone. To be argued about in a week.

    I think any human as smart as Chel would smell the Nigerian scam going on right here. It’s not like Maelinn is a great conwoman. Especially with EVERYONE worried she’ll be kidnapped, and a kidnapping right in her immediate past. It would be on her mind. She’d smell it.
