“Lexx told me he wants to stay here.” Chel tried to keep from yelling, reminding herself once again, Maelinn was delivering a message.  She was not the source of that message.  Maelinn nodded at Chel, brightening up now that she had her attention, even if Chel was upset.

“You need to be his advocate for what he wants.”  Maelinn stared into Chel’s eyes, trying to get the point across just how important it was for Chel to attend the meeting.
