“I love you, Lexx.” Alexxis continued. “I would say that to you as many times as I could. You can see it in your memories now.”
“I’m not sure if we should be having this discussion right now.” Lexx stepped back. He caught a glimpse of a memory he had never seen before, from his father’s point of view, looking into his mother’s eyes. He wanted to see more, but immediately moved on.
“You mean because you’re in the middle of an awful battle and you might die?”
“Yes.” Lexx sighed.
“I can’t think of a better time.” Loving warmth enveloped Lexx as he was shown a series of happy memories, including some that had been enhanced by Alexxis when he was a baby. His parents truly loved him.
