Chel couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness pull at her heart, tightening her chest for a heartbeat.  She had quickly retrieved Drift so Lexx could go on the hunt.  The little dice had been VERY disappointed at having his game interrupted and sulked,… by reverting back to a dice.  Fortunately, Lexx only needed Fly. She walked after Lexx into the door, immediately finding herself stepping onto dark red rock. 'I,.. just wish he looked more human.'  Chel glanced around trying to figure out where they were. Rocky spires, striated with crimson, gold and orange rose into the air all around.  They were in a canyon of some kind. The sky was beautiful,… endless blue with streaks of light clouds. But the most striking scenery,… was standing directly in front of her. Lexx was just standing there, looking up at the beautiful sky.  There was a strong breeze, bringing with it the smell of trees and water,… somewhere.  His dark hair was fluttering and he flexed his wings, extending them just enough to test the air.  He was a very striking image against the sky. 'But then,…'  Chel mused, watching him step forward with Fly, 'He wouldn't be Lexx.  He'd just be another guy.  Being different is what makes him so,… attractive.  That's probably it.  It's just that he's different.  I really care about him.  At least as a friend and someone who needs a friend.' Then, she saw it.  There was a spot of blue gleaming in the sky.  A large bird.  No,… two birds.  One was attacking the other.  "There it is!"  Lexx lifted his arm, indicating the birds.  Fly chirred, bobbing his head and getting a good look at his opponent. "Cast the dice!"  Fly bristled, preparing to jump as soon as the modifiers were tossed.  Lexx scattered the dice and within moments, Fly leaped from his arm and into the air, speedily rising into in the sky as a dark red blur.
